The original 1976 American Telecommunications Corporation 15" Mickey Mouse telephone with a rotary dial. Mickey is holding a yellow receiver. He is marked "Walt Disney Productions" on the rear of his red shorts. 15 inches tall. Ringer hi/low switch.

This telephone was later available with pushbuttons. It also was available with a single or double 3-way lamp attached to the back of the base and with white pleated lampshade(s). The lamp versions were used in Disney Hotels.

There were four characters produced using the same phone - Mickey Mouse, Snoopy, Kermit the Frog, and Winnie the Pooh.

When the phone rings, Mickey moves his head side to side, points to the phone as it's ringing, and says one of five custom phrases including, "I think it's for you","Oh, boy, a phone call","Oh, gee, I wonder who it could be", "Well, what do ya know, it's for you", and "Hi-ya, Pal, you've got a phone call". It has a simulated antique rotary dial, with push button pad. You can switch from Mickey's voice to ringer. Last number redial, tone/pluse switchable.

Mickey marked "C The Walt Disney Company" on the back of his pants. Handset is marked ATT, has a ringer Off/Hi/Lo switch and a three postion volume switch. Dial, Tone and DP selection, Mute, lighted dial, and last number redial. Made in China.

A cheap looking phone made in 1982-83 in Taiwan for John Stanley Industries. It is an ivory colored wall phone. The wall bracket has colored pictures of Mighty Mouse on it. The handset is a simulated wood brown color. It also has colored pictues and stickers on it. The box is nicer looking than the telephone. It is a real tough piece to find. Original price was $7.99. Features include touch-tone dialing, mute key, and last number redial.

This colorful phone depicts a trio of M&M's characters. At first ring, the dozing M&M's begin to wake up with animated body, arm and eye movements, and animated conversation, too! Green M&M's Gal blinks, nods, and pronounces, 'Hold all my calls!' The second ring stirs Red Peanut waves his hand and protest, 'Don't look at me. It's your phone!' The third ring, the Blue looks up, moves a bit and says 'Hey man, if you want to be cool, wait for the third ring.' Touchtone telephone is shaped like an old Mobil gasoline pump and is decorated with the red Pegasus Mobil logo on the 'globe' and on the front of the pump. Receiver and buttons for dialing are under the base of the phone. Earpiece is the 'gauge' on the front of the pump, and you talk into a hole just above the base of the pump. Made in 1984. 9-1/2 inches tall.
