Inverse Duplex receiver.

David Grimes history, from the Pavek Museum.

Day-Fan 6 Jr, Type 5055
Day-Fan 6 Jr., Type 5055
This radio, introduced in 1927 and originally selling for $65, strongly resembles the Atwater Kent Model 35. Both are 6-tube TRF sets with many circuit similarities, and both have inverted chassis housed in similar metal cabinets with emblems on the top. It appears that Day-Fan mimicked the earlier AK 35. Rare radio. See Douglas vol1,p.157.
